My one little Word Layout

Yesterday I finally got to work on the 1 little word layout i wanted to create for the new year. I am going to hang it up somewhere in my scrap room to remind me of my word and goals that go with it for 2009.

A word for 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

A new year brings with it thoughts of the coming year and what I want to do to make 2009 a great year. Over at Ali's Blog she has, for the past 2 years, chooses a word for that year. You can check out info here . 

Anyway, this year i am jumping on the band wagon, think its a fantastic idea. 

So my word for 2009 is......

DETERMINATION

- the quality of being resolute; firmness of purpose (from dictionary.reference.com) 

I am determined to 

- loose weight 

- fix my back

- continue organizing

- plan better

- take time to be creative

- be patient with my kids (patience was close 3rd)

The word I thought that i would choose was Perservere but as i wrote up the reasons why i choose that word, it became clear that was not the word, it was obviously determination. 

Determination is a really big word, can mean so many things, but I am determined to see it through. I am determined to make 2009 the best it can be!
